RHSP 2 Bedroom Waitlist Opening
PUBLIC NOTICE
DUPAGE HOUSING AUTHORITY & KENDALL HOUSING AUTHORITY
RENTAL HOUSING SUPPORT PROGRAM (RHSP) 2-BEDROOM WAITING LIST OPENING
The DuPage Housing Authority (DHA) and Kendall Housing Authority (KHA) announce the opening of the Rental Housing Support Program (RHSP) 2-Bedroom Waiting List.
Applications for the RHSP 2-Bedroom Waiting List will be accepted beginning June 23, 2026, through June 30, 2026.
The Rental Housing Support Program (RHSP) is a state-funded rental assistance program administered through the Illinois Housing Development Authority. RHSP provides rental assistance to extremely low-income households by subsidizing a portion of the monthly rent. Program participants generally pay approximately 30 percent of their household income toward rent, with the balance paid through the RHSP subsidy. Unlike the Housing Choice Voucher Program, RHSP assistance is tied to participating units and is not portable.
Eligibility Requirements
This waiting list opening is limited to households eligible for a 2-bedroom RHSP unit. To qualify for placement on this waiting list, applicants must have at least three (3) and no more than four (4) household members at the time of application. Applicants must also meet all applicable RHSP income and program eligibility requirements.
