Public Comment: MTW Supplement to the Annual Plan

KENDALL HOUSING AUTHORITY
PROPOSED MOVING TO WORK SUPPLEMENT TO THE ANNUAL PHA PLAN

The Kendall Housing Authority (KHA) has prepared a proposed Moving to Work (MTW) Supplement to its Annual PHA Plan. The MTW Supplement identifies KHA's proposed use of its MTW authority and the activities KHA intends to implement during the upcoming fiscal year.

The proposed MTW Supplement includes implementation of MTW Activity 2.a, Payment Standards - Small Area Fair Market Rents (HCV). Under this activity, KHA proposes to establish Housing Choice Voucher payment standards at 100 percent of the applicable HUD-published Small Area Fair Market Rent (SAFMR) by ZIP Code and bedroom size throughout its jurisdiction. The activity is intended to better reflect localized rental market conditions and increase housing choice for participating families.

In accordance with HUD requirements, KHA is providing a 45-day public comment period to allow interested parties an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed MTW Supplement.

September 1, 2026 through October 16, 2026

Members of the public are encouraged to attend and provide comments regarding the proposed MTW Supplement.

The Kendall Housing Authority Board of Commissioners will meet immediately following the public hearing.
