WAIT LISTS - Now Closed
The Housing Choice Voucher Wait List (March 5, 2019) is Closed.
The Project Based Wait List is now Closed.
No date has been determined as to when any of the waitlists will open again. When the DHA opens for applications again, we will announce it on our website, local papers and send notices to local agencies and municipalities.
Wait List Pre-Applicants Information:
When will you be called from the wait list? No time frame can be given at this time, as so many factors affect how quickly we can serve the current applicants on our current wait list. Our timelines are dependent on funding and the number of people who exit the program, that we are currently serving.
What is my position/number?
Please use the username and password (created at the time you applied) to access your account from our Applicant Housing Café. Your number indicates the number of people we must serve before we are able to call your name.
How do I update my information?
Use the username/password you created at the time of applying to access your account information from our Applicant Housing Cafe. Select the Apply/Update Application button to open your application. Proceed through the screens to update any information on your application. You must proceed through all the screens until the end, where you will be asked to save it. If you forgot your username/password, contact the Compliance Dept. 630-593-8209 (Jim) or 630-593-8225 (Lisa) for assistance.
APPLICANTS WHO SELECTED PREFERENCES…
If a preference no longer applies to the applicant, it is their responsibility to remove it from their Café Account as all preferences will be verified upon coming off the wait list. If any applicant is unable to verify a preference they select, or found ineligible for a preference they select, the preference points for any non-qualified preference will be deducted and the pre-application will be returned to the wait list. The list will then be re-ordered to move the applicant to their qualified position based on any remaining preferences, then on date/time of application. To read more about Preferences CLICK HERE
