Rental Housing Support Program


The RHSP Wait list is now closed, it last opened Sept. 7, 2022. 

The Illinois Housing Development Program known as RHSP is a state funded program administered by both DuPage and Kendall Housing Authorities. RHSP funds the rent subsidies for severely low-income households. Households in the program will pay approximately 30% of their income in rent based on the contribution schedule. Participants must rent a specific unit with a specific eligible landlord. This is not a portable voucher program. 

To be eligible for RHSP applicants and tenants must fall within the following income limits:
